If it Rains...
If it rains, every effort will be made to get every game of the tournament in. We will play through the night if necessary. Teams should be prepared to play day or night (even in the wee hours) if rain sets things back. Tournament Director Kevin Farr will relay revised schedules to coaches as soon as possible.
Suspended Games
Any games that are suspended (due to weather) will be resumed from point of stoppage.
Infield/Outfield Practice
With the heavy schedule of games, time will not allow for normal rounds of infield, but teams may take ground balls and fly balls on their side of the field prior to the game. Grounders should be hit from behind either first or third base bags towards second base. Fly balls in the outfield should be hit from behind the foul line towards centerfield. Please give grounds crew room to work when necessary.
Semifinals & Finals
Top two teams from each division will advance to semifinal round. Top seed from the Red will play the two-seed from the Blue in one semifinal and vice-versa for the other semifinal game. Winners of those advance to finals. Each of the six games each team plays in pool play will factor into who gets the top two seeds.
Seeding tie-Breakers are as follows:
- #1 Head-to-head
- #2 Runs Allowed
- #3 Runs Scored
- #4 Coin flip
Game Rules
- Coin toss will determine home and visiting teams.
- Run-rule is 8-runs after five innings.
- Team listed first will sit in 3rd base dugout.
- Designated hitter for the pitcher only.
- No extra hitters.
- Courtesy runners for catchers and pitchers.
- No time limits put on games.
- Slide rule in effect.
